The Season of Easter 2022

 The Season of Easter: Easter is the oldest and greatest feast of the church. This celebration of resurrection begins Easter Sunday and lasts 50 days. While every Sunday is a feast day (even in Lent!), Eastertide is marked by special changes in our worship, including the omission of the confession at both daily office and primary Sunday worship services. The liturgical color is white, as we glory in the resurrection of Christ, and the invitation to new life for all.
